American Whiskey Report June 2026

Product Releases

Match Day American Whiskey

  • Union Horse Distilling Co. has released Match Day American Whiskey to commemorate the 2026 FIFA World Cup Games in Kansas City.

  • Heaven Hill has launched its “year of wheat” releases with the third edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon, which will be followed later this year by Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Specialty Release aged in French Oak Barrels and Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Extra Aged 9-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon. They have also released Rittenhouse 10-year-old Bottled-in-Bond Rye Whisky United States 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition.

  • Potter Jane has released its first aged whiskey, a vatted whiskey called Big Vat Liar.

 

Bardstown Bourbon Company Mars

  • Buffalo Trace has two annual releases out, E.H. Taylor, Jr. Four Grain Bourbon Whiskey and E.H. Taylor, Jr. Cured Oak Bourbon Whiskey.

  • New Riff has two new releases, a 10-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and a 10-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.

  • Michter’s has released its 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye.

  • Barrell Bourbon has released Batch 038, which is a blend of straight Bourbon whiskeys including a 12 year distilled in Kentucky, 9 and 10 year distilled in Indiana, 12 and 15 year distilled in Tennessee, and an 8 year distilled in Maryland. It will feature a special red, white, and blue label to commemorate the country’s 250th anniversary.

  • High West has released The Prisoner’s Share, a blended whiskey matured in The Prisoner wine casks. The mash bill includes straight Bourbon whiskeys with mash bills including a 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley malt from MGP, a 60% corn, 40% rye from Bardstown Bourbon Company and a 78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley; 80% corn, 20% malted barley from High West Distillery as well as straight Rye whiskeys including a 95% rye, 5% barley malt from MGP and an 80% Rye, 20% Malted Rye from High West Distillery.

 

Sapsquatch Sugar Maple Finished Bourbon

  • Sazerac has released its first-ever Tennessee Whiskey, AJ Bond.

  • Four Roses has released Anthology, the oldest whiskey from the brand to date, an OBSF clocking in at 21 years old.

  • Copper & Cask has released Wave That Flag, a 9-Year double oaked Bourbon finished in an American Oak Wave Stave Char #1, another America’s 250th commemorative release.

  • Kooper’s Whiskey has released Father’s Office Cigar Blend with a combined Amburana and Mizunara finish.

  • Green River has released Distillery Select Toasted Double Oak Bourbon.

  • 15 Stars has released First West Explorer made from baby black corn.

  • Wild Turkey has released its Spring 2026 release of Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Old Bourbon to commemorate Eddie Russell’s 45th year with the distillery. It is also accompanied by a short documentary.

  • Lost Lantern has released the United States of Bourbon, a first-of-its-kind blend of Bourbons from all 50 states which comes in both 100 proof and cask strength. There’s an additional 250th anniversary blend of barrels from the 13 original colonies, as well.

 

Harrier Sundown

  • Allies for Cherry Point’s Tomorrow (ACT), a nonprofit based in North Carolina, has released Final Flight Reserve, a Bourbon commemorating the retirement of the legendary AV-8B II Harrier fleet.

  • Starlight Distillery has released a 10 year old Bourbon.

  • Cedar Ridge Distillery has released Nine and Three Quarters Rye, a high-rye rye whiskey made with malted rye.

  • Preservation Distillery has released Wattie Boone 250th Anniversary Edition Bourbon, celebrating one of Kentucky’s earliest distillers.

  • Lee Greenwood, the country music singer, is reviving Soldier Valley Spirits to celebrate America’s 250th birthday and to support veterans and first responders.

  • Wheel Horse Whiskey has released a rum finished double mash whiskey, a blend of Bourbon and rye finished in rum barrels.

  • Penelope has released Penelope Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Penelope Straight Rye Whiskey. 

  • Hard Truth has released Double Oaked Sweet Mash Rye.

  • Liberty Pole Spirits of Pennsylvania and MB Roland Distillery of Kentucky have worked together to create a blend of two different styles of whiskey, Kentucky Bourbon and Pennsylvania Monongahela Rye, to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. Each distillery will release its half of the whiskey with its own label, Kentsylvania and Pennsytucky.

  • Green River has released Toasted Double Oak Distillery Select.

  • Coors Whiskey Co. has released an eight-year-old Blended American Malt Whiskey. 

  • Stoll & Wolfe has released Wolfe & Wilson Straight Rye Whiskey, a collaboration between Erik Wolfe and Alan Bishop, with a mash bill of 1 bushel rye malt, 1 bushel wheat, 1 bushel rye, and 3 pecks of oats.

  • Pursuit Spirits has released Honey Hog, a collaboration with Meat Church.

  • Wooler Brands has launched Wooler Whiskey, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon made in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Still Austin Cold Fashioned Slushy

Still Austin Cold Fashioned

4oz. Still Austin Straight Bourbon Whiskey
2oz. Old Fashioned Mix
6oz. Sour Mix
Ice
Optional: cherry and orange slice to garnish

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and slushy. Pour and serve. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.
