It's a pub, it's a bar, it's a cocktail den, it's a saloon, it's... everything and it's just as it should be. Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog opened early this year in lower Manhattan as both an homage to the traditional Irish pubs Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry knew back home, but also as a tribute to the history of New York City through the centuries to now. It's a place so friendly and diverse, if we lived in a different era, the local fishmonger and Dorothy Parker could have become drinking buddies.
