As we regroup and put the pieces together from a fantastic Tales of the Cocktail last week in New Orleans, we thought you’d like to take a gander at all we got up to. There were some truly inspired seminars and events, tons of tastings and parties, plus we made sure not
to miss out on some of the rich culture of the Crescent City! A whirlwind few days to be sure.
In the meantime, we’ve put some albums together on Facebook for you to peruse.
These albums include some of our favorite memories, such as the seminar on Airport Bars
moderated by Jacob Briars, with Charlotte Voisey (in pilot and flight attendant garb to keep our tray tables upright and locked!) and Doug Draper. We also loved the Absolut Welcome Party at Arnaud’s and the Pernod popup at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. Another highlight to be sure, the folks at Cure have a new and promising venue, Cane and Table, which served as the Irish Whiskey House popup spot for this year’s Spirited Award winners for Best New Cocktail Bar, the Dead Rabbit (big mazel and slainte to the team!)
But more on all that later. Time to regenerate some brain cells.
